The Wilkes Heritage Museum has obtained grants from the Blue Ridge National Heritage Area and the Wilkesboro Tourism Development Authority for funding the design of the music room that houses exhibits interpreting the musical heritage of the region. The auditorium and it's foyer house the Hall of Fame
